To get HP Deskjet 3700 printer back online, first switch on the printer if it is off. With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the printer. And, unplug the cord of the printer from the wall outlet. Wait for at least one minute. Then, restart the computer. Plug the power cord back on the wall. Reconnect the power cord to the printer. Press the Power button to switch on the printer. Then, ensure that the HP printer is connected to the computer or on the network. Update the HP Deskjet 3700 printer driver by selecting Windows key, then select Control Panel. In Control Panel, select to View by Large Icons and select Devices and Printer. Right-click the default printer, then select Remove Device. Type the model of the printer and select Enter. Select the Operating System, and choose Download to get the driver downloaded. To mark the printer as the default HP Deskjet 3700 printer, first restart the printer. Choose Devices and printers. Right-click and select Set as Default Printer. Then, make sure that there is a green check mark which is present next to the printer. Right-click the icon of the default printer and choose See What’s Printing. Select Printer tab. Then, choose Pause Printing and Use HP Deskjet 3700 printer offline to remove the check marks.
