Installing The Ink Cartridges

• Once you have done that, the Install Cartridges screen will open, prompting you to install the genuine ink cartridge on your printer.
• Open the printer’s front door and raise the cartridge access door.

• Then close the main paper tray and open the output tray.
• The printer will detect the type of loaded paper and display it on the screen. Can you see it? If yes, tap OK.

Aligning The Printer

• The printer will automatically print an alignment page once you install the ink cartridge and load paper into its main tray.
• Collect it from the printer’s output tray and place it on the scanner’s glass.
• Tap Scan on the “Scan the Alignment Page” screen on your printer to allow the printer to scan the page.
• Once the scanning is done, the “Alignment Successful” message will appear.

• Set the number of copies and other copy preferences on the same screen. Do you want to save the current copy settings as defaults for future use? Then, tap Copy Settings > Save Current Settings.
